Civil engineer fresher resume format
Civil fresher hiring separates site execution from design and estimation, and the resume should signal which one you are after within the first few lines.
Site training is the strongest evidence a civil fresher has. Name the project, its scale, the stage you saw and what you were responsible for observing or recording.
Indian codes matter and are checked. If you have worked to IS 456, IS 800 or the NBC, name them.

Questions
What software should a civil engineering fresher know?
AutoCAD as the baseline, then one structural package (STAAD.Pro or ETABS) for design roles, or Primavera and MS Project for execution and planning roles. Revit is increasingly asked for by larger consultancies.
How important is site training on a civil resume?
Very. For execution roles it is the primary evidence, and the project scale plus what you were personally responsible for is what gets read.
